The 12th Annual Bivalves for Boobies Fundraiser, on 17 October 2026, will start with a fun walk around the point in Colonial Beach to raise breast cancer awareness.
This walk is a non-timed fundraising event sponsored by Denson's Chesapeake Bay Farm to Table Catering to support the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF). The walk takes place along the shoreline peninsula of Colonial Beach, Virginia.
This year’s participants will start and finish at Ice House Brewery & Marina just before the kick-off of the 2026 Bivalves for Boobies Oyster and Seafood culinary extravaganza dedicated to raising funds to support the fight against breast cancer.
Walk/Run Pick up is at 10 am with the start at 11 am. Food from Denson's and music from Hard to Tell will be from Noon to 4pm at Ice House.

The 11th Annual Bivalves for Boobies Fundraiser took place on October 12, 2025, and featured the 5K Fun Run/Walk with over 60 registered! This was a non-timed fundraising event sponsored by Denson's Chesapeake Bay Farm to Table Catering, to support the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF). The fun run/walk took place along the shoreline peninsula of Colonial Beach, Virginia. Participants started and finished at Icehouse Brewery & Marina just before the kick-off of the 2025 Bivalves for Boobies oyster and seafood culinary extravaganza dedicated to raising funds to support the fight against breast cancer. Hard to Tell provided the music, and a team of volunteers decorated and hosted some fun games. Thanks to all of our sponsors and those who came out to support this important fundraiser! Together we raised $8,343.25! We are making a difference!
